Hello, I just received an offer for Amazon L7 role in Finance in Seattle. Can you please suggest if this is fair? Base: $160K Bonus: $100k + $85k RSU: 170 Thanks!
It’s a little low but right around where I would have expected it to be. Source- I’m also in finance
What’s top of range ?
What would be an average offer? Are the RSUs low or the overall package?
More importantly- what team is this on?
Finance...within Transportation
That’s so less
Base is higher then average, bonus is higher then average and RSU is lower then average, that being said, there isn’t any wiggle room anyways
FYI, your base is completely maxed out (you’ll never get a raise, since you’re at the cap). If possible you should try to go for a lower base and more RSUs; this will give you long term room to grow your total compensation.
You mean ask them to make the base $155 and add 30 RSUs?
Yes, something along those lines. The RSUs vest in the future anyway, and by the time they do, your base will already have increased, giving you more pay in the long term. Also if you start now, your next compensation adjustment won’t be until April 2021.
