I spoke with a few friends earlier today and it looks like we all got the same message (verbatim) on LinkedIn for a Software Engineering opportunity at Amazon. When Amazon looks to hire do their Talent Acquisition team message everyone on LinkedIn hoping someone will respond? The guy who sent me the message seems to check out on LinkedIn (at least I thought the profile looked legit). The message reads like somebody copied it from a template. Sorry to appear weary. The last person who messaged me like this (different company) eventually connected with me on LI and spammed my connections. A little hesitant to respond this go around. Learned my lesson. Would appreciate any advice.
Not true. Amazon has a high hiring bar.
It’s all relative. They’re by far the easiest FANG to get into.
I get recruiters from all the big tech companies reaching out to me on linked in. It's pretty normal. It's literally their job to try and talk to as many possible candidates so they can find the ones worth giving interviews. Their career is literally a huge numbers game

Typical of amazon. They’ll hire anyone and just aggressively PIP out the ones that don’t work out.
