Amazon SDE 3 to MS l63
Hello, I am an SDE 2 at Amazon, currently in promo path for SDE 3. My current TC is 220 but it will be around 270 thanks stock appreciation. MS is proposing me TC 250 on l63. It is a bit lower but there is also a better wlb. I have 12 YOE I am wondering if I have been lowballed level wise? I think TC 250 is pretty much as high as it can get lvl 63 wise. So can I negotiate higher lvl? Thanks!

I did actually get a TT rating
But seems weird that only 20% will keep their TC. But in worst case I still have 2 years to see it coming :)

What's your Msft TC split?
160 base + 50k cash sign on + 200 stock
L6 in promo path means nothing until it happens. It can be denied for 50 different reasons, and nobody can guarantee you anything. Your L6 promo will put you at 260~, but you’re already there due to stock appreciation so you’ll just get a 10% base bump. If your WLB sucks or you want a change of scenery, take the offer. Did you get a TT rating? If not your TC will drop to 185k~ once your initial vests complete.
