Amazon SDE1 Offer
I have an offer for Base: 120 Sign-on: 25 + 20 RSU: 45 shares I have 1 YOE and will be moving to Seattle from Bay Area. Is this a standard offer? Do I have room to negotiate without competing offers? Thank you!
My SDE1 offer averaged 160 over four years. 2 YOE
Sign on ok RSU a bit low. Base is solid for SDE1
125 base. 2 year bonus + RSU averaged 35
I got 165k also with 1yoe and lower competing offer. Stock is good, you can go higher on base and sign on.
I got 120 base, 75 bonus (over 2 years), 65 RSUs. Had 2 other offers so that helped a little.
I had bi engineer 132 base with 55 sign on over two years for L6... base seems low if ur SDE
As others have posted, for 1yoe, your offer is competitive for what is essentially new grad comp. If you want, you can try to negotiate for 125k base or 10 more rsu. Pick one, but don't ask for both.
Sign on and RSU seem low
What’s the average amount for both of them? I was told by the recruiter that the standard RSUs was 27 shares and that 45 is high.
Considering the stock has doubled in the last two years, that offer is about the same as I got.
