Amazon SDE1 VS Salesforce MTS
I am a New Grad and have two offers one from Amazon and another from Salesforce. Amazon TC - 154 K Salesforce TC - 204 K Your thoughts on this please
Salesforce seems obvious to me based on comp. Do you have a concern with joining Salesforce?
From the other thread he posted, it seems he's concerned with joining Salesforce because he already accepted Amazon and would have to renege their offer.
MTS is a much higher rank, and youâre being offered much more TC from a company that doesnât have a reputation for grinding people down. Seems like a no brainer to me. If you got an Amazon offer now you can def get another FAANG offer if Salesforce doesnât work out.
Itâs not a much higher rank, people get mts as new grads, or can get promoted from amts just after 1 year, so I say it is about the same level. Other than that I agree with your post.
I googled MTS and it said itâs equivalent usually to Senior SWE or even Staff SWE. Seems much higher than a level 1 entry level position.
Make it a poll and mention locations.
