It's difficult to get promoted to SDE3 in Amazon. How long have you been in SDE2 title ? What's your next step ?
Getting to PE is difficult, getting promoted to L6 is not.
I'm an NDE, but the process is pretty much the same... it took me 3 years to get to L6, because the stupid fucking promo system changed THREE TIMES during that period, and I was so busy I didn't have time to spend on my own development. Basically keep a portfolio of the work you're doing, look for cool stuff to work on... If you're just working through SIMs, and doing the stuff that's being spoonfed to you then you're not working at the L6 level. Read the role doc, especially the "Moving to SDE3" section and make sure that it applies to you. If you just come to work every day, put on your headphones, code then go home, then you're not L6 material, you have to stand out.
What are your suggestions? What are the responsibilities we could take to go to L6? And also what’s the average YoE needed to become L6?
I gave my recommendations in my post :) I would also speak to other SDE3s in your org, and ask their advice, especially if they were promoted in the last 2years
can u stay sde2 forever or will get pushed out?
I believe L5 is considered a lifer level. I certainly know people who have been at L5 for at least 7 years, and are happy to stay there and/or aren't cut out for L6. It's not just more money... It's a lot more responsibility.

If Blind user creds get leaked, a lot of you will end up unemployed, sued, and potentially with misdemeanors/felonies
Got 2->3 in 3 years. I know people who got in 2 years too.
How were you able to accomplish this? Getting L6 is pretty difficult I assume, and would require significant gameplanning
Is it the norm to get to sde3 in 3 years? I thought sde3 is a pretty rare species, like less than 10%.
