Amazon Sr. Manager interview process

I have a technical phone screen coming up to be a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Amazon. What should I expect from the hiring process? Am I about to be grilled on data structures I haven’t thought much about since college? Or is it just vetting what’s on my resume? If this goes well, what is the experience like? Any ideas about comp? I’m excited about the opportunity and I want to make sure I’m prepared. FWIW, this is in Northern Virginia.

Practice these 2 heavily. And from your past experience, you would be able to answer people management questions.

Sr. SDM interviews generally have no coding interview. At this level you are managing multiple teams, with 30-80 total reports. System design is there though - practice those problems for sure (grokking system design interview, etc.). People and project management, setting vision and roadmap, influencing across teams and organizations, guiding and coaching other managers and leaders. And 1-2 solid examples for each of Amazon's Leadership Principles.
