Amazon Yearly Reviews
Evaluating an offer from Amazon, I have the Base, Bonus, RSU numbers but do regular raises still occur on the base salary after yearly reviews, regardless of stock performance? I guess, what can and usually happens regarding compensation during yearly reviews outside of anything in the initial offer? Thanks
More salary up to the 160k cap (185 in CA). Your TC target may shift. Refreshers get awarded for RSUs if you’re below your target.
Does it take into account the stock price fell ~ $400 in the last month?
There’s some formula they use IIRC like the last month’s (before review time) average closing stock price. They will not give you any more stock if the stock has been inflated but they will hypothetically “make you whole” if your next years’ TC looks like they will go down.
