Can anyone eloborate how TC works at amzn? Say if I take up an offer for l5 at Tc = 200k.. and say I get promo to l6 in two years! If 200k falls in l6 range, won’t I be getting any additional RSUs or bonus or salary increase? Any insights into this situation?
200k is below L6 range. But suppose you make 250k. Then you are correct; in that case you will get only a nominal raise/refresher
L5 : 250K and L6 : 350K should be easy for amazon. L5: 300K is stretching it into L6. With stock increase 50K more may be now....
TC for levels don't overlap like that. Base salary in Seattle maxes out at 160k, so base may not increase tons from level 5 to 6, depending on where your base is at. Then everything else is covered by stock
