How’s Amazon hiring event ? How hard is it ? Any insights would be great .. thanks
I went through a hiring event, four sessions with bar raisers. Overall I felt it was the easiest interview I have ever had. One session on leadership principles, one coding, two system design. Every interview asked questions related to leadership principles, but one focused completely on it.
Okk .. LC medium types ? How was system design
A simple dynamic programming question, I would estimate about a LC medium. The system design questions were straight forward, just had to spend a lot of time nailing down the requirements, once that was done the high level design was obvious.
I attended a couple and the experience changed for the worst. The interviewing team have to jump from interview to interview so quickly, and if you are good (not that I am) you won’t get signal of company culture (or do you? With the frugality of time of the event lol)
Hmmm .. so it’s ok only in case u know company well before hand, right ?
Yeah, for me is important getting the best idea I can of how is going to be working in there in case I’m good enough for them to extend an offer. And these events don’t offer that
If you dont succeed, are you barred from applying again for 6 months or a year?
Which team.?
