Does amazon no longer has a 6 month freeze after you got rejected for a position in onsite? I had an interview but failed, recruiter told me that I am allowed to interview again with Amazon in the near future and there is no such six month freeze any more.
Why on Earth would you wanna work for Amazon? Explain it to me brain.
Y not
One word: frugality
Amazon does have a cooking period if you were brought for an on-site interview. Phone screens don’t count.
I'm sure the cuisine smells real good.
There's no set rule in my org. In order from most common to least common from what I've seen, candidates are either recommended to try again in 6 months (85%), rejected as "no recycle" which is basically a blacklist (10%), or asked to interview immediately with another team (5%).
Wait and then give interview. Recruiters at Amzn are careless and selfish. The team to whom your profile goes for interview will fail you in your interview, looking at your history of being called very early.
☝️true. I remember getting ‘recruited’ after already being with the company for about 4 months. Which I thought was funny but, yes the left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing. And if it does, I doesn’t care. Try another team whenever you feel like it.
Amazon needs a lot of engineers. So you think trying every month will help you pass one day ? Remember you have to survive too there - if you did not pass it means you won’t also fit there - be happy that you didn’t and do better at your current job and try after a few months .
