Has anyone faced or seen anyone facing this situation? My offer states about repaying the prorated relocation benefits if terminating before 2 year term. But how does it work if you internally transfer to a different Amazon branch before 2 years? Do you repay anything? Do you get relocation assist for internal transfer? What if the transfer is international?
You can get another relocation package, but it adds to your original one. And they will claw it back if you leave before you repay it.
This. You would owe Amazon prorated new relocation package + prorated old relocation package if you quit in future before 2 years. 2 years clock of new relocation package will start once you relocate for new position.
So if they provide another package they will want me to stay for totally 4 years if I do not have to pay anything back right?
As long as you are with Amazon entity you are good. Only in case you leave Amazon they might ask you to repay relocation
Sounds good
Nobody claws back a relocation bonus for an internal transfer. Nobody's that cheap... right?
Amazon = Frugality. Just making sure lol
