I recently had onsite interview with Amazon. I had 5 sessions, including the one with the hiring manager. I feel I did pretty well except the last session. It was a manager and an engineer shadowing the manager. I had to clarify several questions because I felt I am not being given enough context. How was your Amazon interview experience?
Tell me about the time that you have to clarify follow up questions in a interview ...
If you fucked that interview , then u are done here
How about downleveling?
This one is the bar raiser. He was trying to get the data points that he needs. Was he a pseudo robot with no emotions? If yes that is the bar raiser
That’s the thing, they were not trying to dig too much. Just were asking normal follow up questions. I was having hard time to understand even the initial questions. There was another person who asked a lot of follow up questions and at the end stated she was from a completely different team. I thought this one was a bar raiser and with it went pretty well.
