Im looking for jobs at Amazon. How does level 5 and 6 in Amazon translate to MSFT levels?

    Which job function? That part matters. That levels site is very wrong for PM.

      That's definitely a mistake. Will correct to L10. Do the comparisons look accurate?

      For L10, you have to go up on the MSFT side to VP. Here’s my understanding.

      L5=59-62
      L6=63-64
      L7=65-67
      L8=68-69
      L10=70 and 80

      There’s some overlap and down leveling at the borders. I’ve known a 63 come here as L5 and a 65 come here as L6.

      L5 is that wide of a band? Kind of surprising. Does the Msft <-> Google comparison look accurate? I'm wondering whether amazon just has a really large first band or if Msft is really inflated.

      I don’t know anything about google unfortunately. The band for L5 is so wide because there are no L4 PMs. At least none that I’ve seen.

      For sure there are zero MSFT 63 or 64 PMs coming to Amazon as L7. Unless the interview is spectacular.
