I was curious about the non-technical program management career path at Amazon. Is see program managers making more than some senior program managers. Are the job titles representative of the career progression or is there an internal grade level that is more indicative?
No idea. I was at top of L6 when I left.
Does the hiring strictly happen at the job posted? If a position is posted is L4 but the candidate is L5, will they offer at L5? How else do they justify bar-raising?
