Amazon (online assessment or telephonic interview) ?
I was reached out by Amazon recruiter who asked me to choose between a 90 minute online assessment or a telephonic interview as the first round for SDE. Wanted to know which one ahould I opt for and which one is generally easier and would have higher chance of success. TC:170
I took the online assesment recently and it was dead easy ..

You are gonna get sde2 so be prepared. Online assessment would be better choice. The platform is more like leetcode. Questions would mostly be on array, maps. Be prepared to read long questions. Solve the demo assessment first. You should be good.
2 years experience and aiming for "definitely higher than sde2". Should shoot straight for Principal Software Engineer. Take the phone interview so you can talk to them.
Online is better because you don't run the risk of getting a crappy interviewer

position is not decided yet .. it's generally decided after the interview result.. but it will be definitely higher than sde2
