It depends. Here is an anecdote. I recently went through an Amazon online assessment (SDE) and my solution to the second question didn’t pass all the tests. I still submitted it, because I was exhausted from a few other interviews that I had that same day + I am not into Amazon too much. Anyways, they didn’t want to move forward and suggested to try again in a year (which is what I expected). Now here is the funniest thing. A MONTH later, they reached me out and said, hey, you know what, we changed our mind, you actually did OK. Let’s move forward with the interview. By that time, I already signed another offer, so I obviously passed. But,, answering your question, you never know.

Yes. If your coding challenge consisted of 2 questions and you solved one completely. You'll get a call to the next round. If your coding challenge consisted of 3 questions and you got 2 correctly. You'll get called to the next round as well.
