Amazon phone interview feedback timeline
Had a phone interview with Amazon for a marketing role last Wed and haven’t heard back since. Recruiter not responding. How long typically does it take to know the next step? I am tired of the constant reorg in my current team which is hurting my career. Need to find a new job.. thanks!
They responded to me same day when I had mine
Depends on the recruiter. Different recruiters, same company have different engagement styles. But I’d say 1-2 weeks tops before deciding to let it go.
When I went through the recruiter was AWFUL. It took two months from first call to get an interview, and 1 day to get the job offer. I constantly had to email the recruiter several times to get a response from her.
Why are they so slow? Is it this recruiter or the process to blame?
Recruiter and/or multiple other folks for that position. The phone loop is set up by someone else though, not the recruiter. Over a week sounds longer than I would expect, but it can happen at Amazon.
If you do well in your phone screen, amazon recruiter will come to your house to ask onsite interview date... 🤣🤣 They are fast!!
They responded me in a day.
Amazon has a 2-5 SLA. Two working days for phone interview and five for on-site
Their recruiters are disorganized. It took me about a week and I ended up with an offer in the end. Don’t sweat it. My recruiter legit forgot about me twice throughout the process.
I had my call backs for next rounds in 2 business days after the previous conversations. I m in non-engg..
Send an email to recruiter.. i pinged hr on 2nd day and heard back immediately .. hiring manager is busy and didn’t enter his notes in the system yet..
