Amazon rejection before on-site
I had given online assessment test for Amazon, boh coding question was solved. All test cases passing Recruiter said we will call you on site, and schedule a date too. Today got mail thank you for your time and interest That hiring team has decided to move forward with other candidates. What next?

I've been ghosted too. Few weeks after ghosting, another recruiter reaches out to take online test. When I mentioned I've already given and why can't you use the same test results which was not long ago. She refuses because the earlier one was conducted by different recruiter. Wtf! Online test pattern is similar throughout the company. Later phases I understand if different teams wants to conduct multiple times, what's with online test!
I honestly don't want to interview Amazon at all. I've personally experienced and heard so many such stories.

Happened to me and the recruiter lined me up with another team to go onsite with. Ask your recruiter.
Perhaps your resume is bad. Or perhaps you made some controversial statements online. Do you post on r/the_donald?
Just let it sit for a bit. The best time is probably in Feb or March. Another round of OLR (stack ranking) will flush out the mis-hires from the prior year, and head count will be clearer.

Hey at least they rejected you. It’s been 3 weeks since my phone screens, recruiter said he’s waiting to hear back from manager 2 weeks ago about on-site. I haven’t heard back at all. I’ve been ghosted. I don’t know if I want to work for such a manager where I’m second choice or something...
