I see Amazon clause on signing bonus that the bonus is earned at monthly rate. Does that mean there is no repayment or penalty for quitting before the first two years? Not accepting relocation if that matters
Yes, you earn sign on bonus monthly.
First year signing bonus is sent on your first paycheck, and payback prorated the first year. The second year sign on bonus is sent monthly, and does not need to be paid back.
Don’t forget you paid taxes on your sign on.
It's bit vague as to what an installment is but here's the terminology: This sign-on payment will be issued in prorated pay period installments as you complete your first year of employment with the Company. Each installment will be earned at the time of payment. If your employment with the Company is terminated for any reason prior to the first anniversary of your Start Date, you will receive one final prorated installment based on the days worked in your final pay period. No additional installments will be paid.
Whatever amount is promised as bonus will be credited along monthly. eg: 50k/12. If you leave no repayment to be done. If you work for x no of days in the month that you’re leaving, the monthly amount will be pro-rated to these X days.
What happens if you get piped? Should you return the money
Hey, did Amazon force you to repay the sign on and relo by sending it to collections? Did you resign or get fired?
Do we need to repay my sign on bonuses is being payed monthly in a distributed fashion

Tipping culture is really getting out of control! Waiter gave me ‘a look’ because I tipped her 10% for ‘BAD service!’
Ask your recruiter but I was told that there is no repayment.
