I have an on-site interview for sde-2 with EC2 team at Amazon, Seattle. I have less than 2 YOE. What kind of questions should I expect? Should I expect tedious system design questions?
No design. Stick with medium LC algo.
Cool. Thanks
Stick to medium LC. Also look at leadership principles.
You will definitely get 1 system design question
Alright. Knowing this helps a lot. Thanks.
Medium LC, System design grokking should be enough and prepare leadership principles
Prepare leadership principles and understand why they are important. Too many people neglect how important those principles are. Focus on the principles, then the rest of the tech stuff. Screwing up the principles questions you will be game over.
For leadership, there is a guide by an amazon engineer on linkedin. Go search for it.
Cool. Thanks for the advice.
Are you absolutely clueless? What are the things that you do know?
I am aware of the basics of system design and have gone through grokking the system design. I am unsure of what level is expected and have a decent amount of time left until the interview to prepare more(to which I don't think there is any limit) if needed.
