I am starting at Amazon and relocating to Seattle however I'm kind of split between renting near Factoria vs Issaquah highlands. The main factor is the commute. It seems like the Bellevue shuttle gets filled up very quickly and the timings are weird as compared to the Sammamish state park stop. Can anyone share their experiences on these shuttles; commute times, ease of getting a spot, can you still get on it if you're waitlisted?
What do you care about Amazon shuttle if you're near factoria? You can go by 212,218,216,554 to office anytime
Do you know how long it takes during rush hour on those buses? I'm moving from out of state so have no idea about the public transit over there. Are those buses reliable?
Yes. Unlike elsewhere, public transit in Seattle is good, reliable and used by everyone (not just hobos). During commute times, every 5 minutes there is one of this bus and it takes about 30-40 mins from Eastgate freeway station and downtown Amazon offices. It is the same as Amazon bus (which is only there at 8:15,9:30 in morning or super early like 6 or 7). Amazon and most companies in this area give a pass called orca card which gives unlimited free rides on any metro bus.
Why does Amazon shuttle people from one office to the other?
