Amazon vs Microsoft evaluation
Hello Blind! I have been fortunate to receive new grad offers from Amazon & Microsoft. Please feel free to share your thoughts on the offers/ company information. Amazon Seattle (L4) 112k base, 26k+22k bonus, 80k stock over 4 years Microsoft Redmond (L59) 110k base, 25k bonus, 70k stock over 3.5 years I'm inclined towards joining Microsoft since I liked the team I interviewed with & good WLB as I've heard. However the TC seems less & currently trying to negotiate. Edit: I'm a master's student

You should be L60 at Microsoft if you’re a masters student. Negotiate
Msft should be able to give 120k or upto 125k...msft over amzn
MS changed the offer for masters to lv59 this year unless you interned at MS before.
That’s unfair to everyone who already came in at level 60, some even came in at level 61 with masters a couple years back.
Negotiate with MS. I was able to push them from 70k to 120k stock easily with another similar offer. You should be able to do it without much hassle by leveraging Amazon offer.

I think the base pay is high for l59. But you should be l60?
The base pay is exactly what it should be for l59
