Android vs. Search backend vs full stack

I'm about to join a new team and I have 3 options for different roles in front of me. The first is a pure Android development role The second is a position on the search bsckend The third is a full stack position on a product team where I would own features across the backend, iOS, Android and web. Which type of role is better for long term career growth, money, future opportunity, transferable skill etc? Would love to see some thoughts on pros/cons from more experienced folks 2yoe 300k tc

2 yoe and 300k tc? How’d you manage that? Competing offers, good previous experience

Airbnb Xkv OP Dec 16, 2018

Both. Had 4 offers total. And I negotiated aggressively

Why Android dev / mobile dev is so bad (per poll results)? Per Steve Yegge it is difficult area to work in. If you think of UI only part of it, you are mistaken.

Develop applications for Symbian was super difficult as well, then we all know what happened

Fullstack is the best transferrable skill.
