Going through the post-interview blues after my FB on-site. I don’t think I did too well but know the interviewers will be going through the debrief next Monday. I came upon this link that provided insightful info as to what happens behind the scenes during a debrief: https://www.quora.com/Do-I-need-to-do-very-well-in-all-5-onsite-interviews-with-Facebook-to-hope-for-an-offer Just wondering if the info still applies? Again, I didn’t do great but this gives me some hope that maybe they’ll take a chance on me lol.
Debrief is just the first review and the bar is relatively low. Candidate Review comes after and is much much stricter.
Assuming I pass debrief, does candidate review get scheduled for another day? Only reason I ask is b/c the recruiter said she’s gathering the feedback and will be debriefing next Monday afternoon. She said she’ll update me with their decision afterwards.
This is completely anecdotal but they had decided on me during that initial debrief. I finished my last interview at 12:30 and the recruiter had already send me an e-mail by 3:30 same day saying they wanted to make me an offer. I’m still kind of in shock they decided on me so quick.
Can you expand on what not great is? How many questions did you solve / not solve per round and how many hints?
Ah sorry, non-engineering role. Interviewed for PgM role. I feel like everything else was about average to good... except the behavioral interview with the lead. I tried to answer as best as I could but have a feeling she wasn’t impressed with my responses.
What happened OP .Did u get it?
