Nope, you are just a number no matter how good you are at what you do (or don’t ) so people who make work as “life” do suffer with a lot of issues. Treat it as work and means of earning and doing something you like with limited control and you will be better off.
My performance on my projects is always erratic. Most times the feedback is because am.not very detail oriented It's not that I dont try, i just miss it no matter how hard i try. And the onslaught of negative feedback kills me. I end up feeling am not doing enough m can never get used to not being good enough. My whole weekend I have had anxiety and knots in my stomach and it ruins each day. To top it all, as Activision mentioned, onsite and tech screens. What if I don't do well in a new company?
My advice is that you have to figure out what is the cause of your anxiety. Often it is complexed and requires a professional to guide you through it. My life changed a lot after seeking help from a professional.
Not necessarily because of work, but just in general I struggle with anxiety...I occasionally see a therapist, and that helps me a lot with stress management. My company covers mental healthcare expenses in/out of network, which I think is pretty cool.
