Any McLaren Owners?
Owning a Mclaren someday is a long-term dream of mine. What's ownership like? How's it stack up against other supercars? Do you ever regret your purchase? Include model and TC in comments if possible.

If you want a car that catches on fire, go for it.
Not a current owner but have had lots of seat time. Typical super car stuff. Faster than you can use on public roads, gets a lot of attention, not very comfortable. How it stacks up against other supercars is completely irrelevant unless you are spending tons of time at a track. Hard to live with every day as a daily driver. I wouldn’t buy one. I don’t go to the track and prefer a car that isn’t terrible to commute in.
Invest
And then take all that money to your grave, dreaming if owning a McLaren one day.
Owning an expensive depreciating asset is like marrying an elite escort. I can imagine a dream like that, doesn't mean it's practical.

Not everyday use friendly. The only car in that category that you can drive everyday is a 911.
Yep. People forget that a 911 Turbo is pretty close to a McLaren 720s in performance, but it’s $100k cheaper, has a (small) back seat, has good visibility out sides and back, is easy to live with every day, and for that class of car it’s reliable and surprisingly cheap (comparatively) to maintain.
I had an m2. Dream car for me. I was so happy to turn that car in at the end of the lease. Fk car insurances and gas.
So it was your dream car but you were happy to get rid of it? An M2 Competition is high on my list too so I’d like to hear more about it
Cuz im young and in a city the insurance is expensive and when ure driving an m2, saving gas isnt high on ur todo list lol. It gets expensive after a while. When u lease that car, add insurances and gas into ur monthly car payment
