To be fair they weren’t allowed to ask me (yay new laws) but clearly not a good offer. I just said no.
That's why you should always ask for the range up front. Otherwise you will end up wasting your day
One of my former coworker in another company joined recently. Unlikely it will beat Tesla but since it is a startup-ish company you will likely get more exposure to what you want to do. No, you won't get FANG salary outside FANG, even in American companies. My friend is Indian and still got an offer and accept it, if that means anything.
I’ve been here a month; culture is great. They easily beat out an amazon base pay+bonus in my case; and they were not “shocked” to hear what I was making and what I was offered at amazon. Only risk is that amazon stock was much better (obviously) than the options at Byton; but I was fine taking the risk to try a new industry. And, the team I interviewed with at byton were far cooler/nicer/had better attitude than the note taking automatons I met during the Amazon onsite.
So any info on salary for senior/staff software engineer for adas team ?
Seems like Sr. Staff and Staff are divided at 200k.

Chinese company with low hiring bar running out of funds and just like anything made in China very poor quality. Work for a real company instead of wanna be. It won’t last money is going to be gone soon since they can’t pay vendors.
