Hey guys! Hopper has been recruiting lately in the MTL region and I've applied. I was wondering if there's anybody on the inside that can give some info as to how the work/life balance is.. I already know the ballpark salary, but I did hear that there's stock options? I just got absolutely no details about it as to how much we get and if it's consistent or not.. I've applied for a regular engineer position
What’s the TC for Hopper?
My auntie was Grace Hopper
Not sure if you're still looking but we're still actively recruiting in MTL. Work/life balance is an important part of the engineering org's culture. We obviously have expectations for work to get done, but as long as it's done there's no requirement that engineers put in X hours. I pretty consistently work 9-5 (and obviously this is flexible).
I actually went through the entire interview process a couple of months back. I wasn't actively looking for a job back then, which maybe the interviewers picked up on.. but now I'm actually considering of switching to somewhere new. In the end I think 2 out of 4 of my interviewers said yes and since I was a bit hesitant to switch the HR guy kinda leaned on the no side.. It'd be awkward to go back to it haha
did you find hiw their options work?

I had a friend that interviewed there a couple years back. I don’t remember him mentioning anything about stocks. WLB seemed pretty relaxed from what he saw. I’ll see if I can get more out of him. Also, how’s Expedia in mtl? I’m thinking of applying 😂
Haha thanks! I appreciate it. Expedia is pretty good to be honest. WLB is excellent, good benefits and pay
