For the problem at hand (cloud hosted proxy) it's fine. I think proxies in general cause more problems than they solve, especially when you introduce ssl interception. Proxies are one of those warm and fuzzy boxes infosec and risk like to check, but the true added value is questionable IMO, especially in light of SDWAN and the half-assed way people usually implement them (proxies).
