just fyi San Francisco and Santa Cruz are totally different cities, the commute time is very far from being the single aspect to consider.
Yup thanks.
Sf takes 2 hours! Totally inaccurate information
I don’t really understand how people find the difference between 45 minutes and 1 hour so large
I don't think it's large, I just want to live on the beach instead
Your commute from the city to Mountain View would be much more enjoyable than Santa Cruz to Mountain View
Also gtfo with “San Fran”
SF hobos hate techies....
Fyi, bay area rush five hours are 5:30AM-10AM and 2:45PM-8:30PM Peaks about in the middle of each range
I used to commute from Santa Cruz to Watsonville....and laugh as I watched northbound 17 become a parking lot around 6:15am. It’s a 45-minute drive at 11pm. During rush hour you’re looking at 75-90 minutes. Easily.
Fuck
The commute Los Gatos to Mountain View takes at least 45 minutes, usually closer to an hour and 1h25+ or so is about a once a week occurrence. Getting back is often worse. Double it whenever it rains or fogs (often). I can’t imagine adding all of 17 on top of that.

Lol it's never ever ever 45 minutes. Try double that.
Why would Google maps lie to me
Because you didn’t set it to the right time ie when people come and go, or you set it going the reverse, to santacruz in the morning or to google in evening.
