I'm in IT with BofA now - Product Owner/Business Analyst. Not really liking what I'm doing. 2 years after graduation, been in this role since Feb 2018. Wondering if anyone did the Financial Advisor program they have. Looking for a change of pace and more interaction with work
Go back to college
It's a possible option? Not something I'm Keen on. For a 2nd degree? I'm still paying off my first (I was good at my major by all means)
FWIW, my degree is business focused on business analysis (so I actually had some higher level management courses thrown in)
To become a CFP?
I guess? That might be neat tbh
What kind of stuff do you enjoy?
Problem solving, analyzing situations, working with people. Would rather a bunch of smaller shorter (not necessarily easier) tasks/projects than something that's drawn out and long (months upon months). College was great for that, only 3 months at a time
@techgeek23 have you looked at roles in the analytics organization (under CAO)? Seems like it could leverage your technical and problem solving skills but also put you closer to the business.
