Anyone has mentally-ill family members or friends?

I am not talking about sadness, mild depression, or occasional high/low emotions. Has anyone dealt with or know someone with severe mental illness like intense aggression, shouting, throwing things around, hitting or harming someone, hallucinations, schizophrenia, intense hatred, short term memory loss, or constantly fluctuating thoughts? The kind of people who need full-time attention and they may or may not realize it, or who need to be kept under constant medical supervision? Please pm me.
