Thanks, Is “Senior Associate” a formal title. I had been with JPMC @602 and in one background check I put title as “Senior Associate” at JPMC. But its causing discrepancies in background check because HR replied with “Associate” to my prospective employer. Is grade a private sensitive information or will they be able to disclose it for reference check.
Not a formal title, the corporate title is just Associate.
TCs?
From the finance side of the business I can tell you it's a marginal salary increase of approx 2k. And the difference in title is junior vs senior associate.
No. Senior associate isn’t a formal title. You’ll see be an associate on paper. It’s illegal for employers in NYC to ask about salary now, so I don’t thinks salary grade is something JP would risk disclosing
Did you join JPMC if so how is it? With Receipt?
Both are associate, but 602 is more senior and is one grade below VP while 601 is junior. Typically a small pay difference (though all grades have large ranges).
