I am looking to move out of Bay area to somewhere like Boulder, Austin or Boston. But I've lived here for 5 years and all my friends are here and no relatives in the US. If I go to any other City I've to start from ground again to have good set of friends ( which gets harder as I age ). It's like I want to get out but is afraid of starting over my social circle. Any one faced this? How did you get over it if you actually moved to some other City?
I will be moving to Boston in January. We can be friends.
I moved to the Bay Area from another state and had to start over. It was hard. Luckily I knew a few people. But it forces you to pick up hobbies and learn how to create happiness for yourself and become self reliant for strength, which is one of the best skills to develops in your 20s. You will make friends again. The question is why do you want to move out?
This is a great answer. Thank you.
Go to conferences. Meet new like minded people from different places. Have friends when you move there.
New beginnings are always exciting, good luck 🤞
married? if not, get into Tinder or similar type of “social netwok” 🤯😝
Yes. Anyone that has ever moved to a different city (for college). It’s called growing up, tho. Not a dilemma
