I'm looking into ways in paying my lease though my credit card and I saw Plastiq (kinda want points). What's your take on it and is there a better method?
Only worth it to meet a certain threshold for benefits (signing, miles, etc.). You're playing a net negative game if you want to do it purely for points.
2.5% is a steep fee but they often run promotions so I used to use them only when there was some promo going on and the math made sense.
Good luck. Our pricing is good but you usually won’t get the points
What’s it like to work at Plastiq?
Great!
Great but looks like they dont respect people who work there for long time. Recently they let go a lot of them and not in a good way
20ppl were let go. Melio is coming in

Bay Area vs Seattle
That would be like taking ~2.5% loan to pay your rent- bad idea by any choice, especially if it's for earning ~2% points. Might make sense if you're aiming for dem sign up bonuses with minimum spends but even those can be fulfilled by other daily expenses.
