Anyone who couldn’t make it to e5 at fb/goog?
Wondering if anyone can give their experiences around this. Fb and goog expect you to reach e5/t5 after a certain amount of time. Anyone actually got fired because of not being able to make it?

At FB that happens. At G never: T4 is kinda the new terminal level.

These are short for engineer/technical level 5 which is job level. In other companies these levels are equivalent to staff level.

I know a few people who didn’t make it. Different reasons. Usually something wrong with the person.
