😂 That was a few years back. Apple map is actually a lot better now and even more accurate in certain domains. I see a lot of new homes not show in Google maps but show in Apple maps.

They might not have bought it for AV but for different markets where the underlying tech can be used like AR/VR or robotics. If they have some useful IP it sounds like a bargain for Apple to get something already developed for less than it cost them to develop. Isn't this the first AV company to go belly-up ? I wonder if it's the start of bubble bursting for these vaporware companies.
