Hi, This is my first post so please forgive if these questions are off-limits. I am a product manager in Austin (10 yr work-ex, s/w dev background, product manager for ~4 years). I was contacted by a third-party recruiting company for a contract ProdM role in Austin. Already had a phone interview with two team members where they discussed their project and my experience (it matches to the point of being creepy - they're working for the same prod I am building). I am due to have a phone conversation with the hiring manager. Recruiter gave me Zero info, including the hiring manager name. It would be great if someone could post earlier questions they faced, or any other helpful tips. Thanks! Edit - I think the team is designing a ticket management system for the customer care execs
Not all contract jobs are shitty, especially if you can get onboard c2c instead of w2 you can make some decent money. Contracting at Apple will suck and you’ll have no saying in any decision.
All contract work at Apple sucks. Your job is the whim of Apple client/ manager.
I thought contract jobs are shitty by nature. Is it even worse at Apple?
