Apple Commute from Mission Bay

I'm starting at Apple soon and looking for housing near Mission Bay / Dogpatch. I will be working in Cupertino at Apple Park. My understanding is that there is a bus that picks up in the area, my question to you guys is whether this bus is usually full or whether it's easy to walk on? At Microsoft, by the time the bus picked up at the final spot it was often full and employees had to wait for the next bus, which could be up to 30 mins away
