Apple background check
I got verbal offer two weeks ago and verbally agreed. Yesterday, Recruiter told me he got all the approvals and I will be getting the offer letter today. But I did not get the offer and they initiated the background check today after asking me to filling out bunch of forms. Is this normal to perform the background check before sending the offer letter to the candidate? Anyone had the same experience? Should I wait for the written offer till the background check gets cleared?
Chill.. Its fine. You ll get it tomo.. They initiated the background check after I signed the offer.. But maybe they just wanted to hurry things up..

They did background check even before they gave me the numbers. They did it give a reason and low balled me after that.
I got background check request and offer email at the same time week ago.
I got a verbal offer first followed by background check. Official offer letter took another week. Your case seems normal
Same case for me, once background completed I had offer mailed overnight
FYI, I got the offer letter email today, one day after they started the background check process. Background check is still pending, probably will take few more days. Thanks all for your responses.
This seems normal, just wait for the background check to clear.
