Apple background check is done. Anyone here got to that point and didn't receive an offer?
Finally the background part is done. Received an email from the coordinator with "Congratulations, you met Apple standards", and to reach out to the recruiter with the next steps. Touch based with the recruiter and provided her some additional info about compensation she asked on the phone last week. Haven't heard from her since last week when she sent me the background check link. At this point, anyone had an experience of not getting an offer? I haven't heard a verbal offer yet... Thanks!
Same happened with me. They are working on it. Nothing to worry.
Background checks normally do take this long, and i hate it too. I wish it was common for background checks to happen before an offer is made/accepted
In my case I completed the background check before receiving a verbal offer. I just heard that the feedback from the last onsite interview was positive and the recruiter initiated the background check. Now waiting to hear back...
No way I'd submit to a bg check without an offer on the table.

Strange, usually I see offer first and it says contingent to background check
Yeah...seems like at Apple it's a common practice to do the BC before, as heard from couple people already that where in the similar situation.
Did you finally get the offer
background check takes 2 weeks or more, especially if your degrees/experience are from abroad, if they ask for extra information during the background check it can take much longer.
Don’t worry, They are probably working on it. You will get the offer
