Apple banned templated apps then revised the guideline 2 weeks after banning it. Is this going to come back again during the banning spree? https://techcrunch.com/2017/12/08/apples-widened-ban-on-templated-apps-is-wiping-small-businesses-from-the-app-store/
This is a good thing
95% of these sort of apps are complete and utter garbage. If this happens, good riddance. Any app worth using is built organically.
People love walled garden and prefer somebody else to make decisions.

That's exactly my point! Walled garden rules, google sucks, plus it spies on us.
Yet another case of Apple doing what they think is best for Apple rather than their customers. Play Store apps may not always be synonymous with “quality,” but at least Google lets pretty much anyone throw what they want on there, without singling out certain groups. The bit about IBM not being affected is a perfect example of Apple not doing this for their users so much as trying to make their overall presentation better.
It’s also a weakness of Android.
You’re not wrong, but this is blatantly unfair on Apple’s part.
