Apple

When I worked at apple I learned some buzzwords.

"Category one" was what you were hired for. It was supposedly something you can do that nobody else can.

"Category two" is your influence and soft power in Apple.

Carnival was our deployment system. I suppose they use pcf or something now.

I have mentioned all of these terms to ex apple people and none of them seem to know any of them , what is this? These are supposed to be super secret insider terms at apple.

Never heard of carnival or pcf. But I have heard of the three categories. They're a bit different though. One is what you own and have direct control over. Two is what you own and done have direct control over. Three is what you don't own and don't have direct control over.

What did you do at apple, and what questions would you ask to see if someone was from apple?

Never heard of any of these. What department/org did you work in?

These originated from Apple leadership training and then made their way into "what makes Apple Apple"
