After on-site, what happens if things went well and didn’t go well? Will hr discuss the offer with you before getting it approved, etc? What is happening in the background?
You will get the feedback in couple of days? Which team did you interview with ? How did it go for you?
My experience, this was a few years ago so YMMV: ~2 weeks after the onsite, I got an email notifying me of my offer. No letter yet. I then scheduled a call with the hiring manager to ask some more questions about the team and the role. This is optional. Then, I discussed compensation and benefits with the recruiter. Managed to get a small bump on my sign-on bonus, but they play hardball for the most part. After that, I received the offer letter, by email and Fedex.
