I had an interview in the Siri ORG recently. I had 2 codings and 2 designs and the last one is just the talk. This is my first time in Apple. What surprised me that the last interviewer was a manager and he spent like more than an hour to have an informal talk about Apple vs my current company culture, release style, technology, architecture, etc. No note-taking nothing. Does this mean, they gave up on me or it's the behavioral interview style of Apple? Any folk here with similar experience?
Probably not a bad sign. HM probably liked you already if you got an on-site
Dude, I just liked your handle lol. So true
I would say it’s a good sign. If the other interviewers didn’t like you, they probably would have sent you home before the manager spent an hour with you.
Nope, rarely happens that way
Good sign. The more it feels like a conversation the more they like you.
Did you meet the director of the org? If not then it’s a bad sign.
I met hiring manager at the lunch which was scheduled. He is I guess the head of the org but no more extra persons other than the scheduled ones. Sounds like I am fucked :)
Not necessarily. They may bring you in to meet with the director.
Hey OP, Can I dm you for interview experience?
ze
Depends on manager. Apple’s interviews can be done whatever style the manager wants. Not like g or fb
