I received a call from the recruiter for the update. They were looking to fill one senior and one non-senior role. Hiring manager liked me and wanted to hire me but peer review feedback showed that I'm not qualified for the senior role. Recruiter informed that my application is still in progress but they have to fill the senior position first before they can proceed to next step for non-senior position, and they will reach out after they finish onboarding the senior hire. Questions: 1. What's the main reason that the company has to fill the senior level role first? 2. Do Apple has bar raiser person included in the interview process like Amazon? 3. Is peer review feedback very important for Apple? 4. How to find out the ICT level for the senior and non senior role?
