What does Apple do when their employees didn't get a H1B lottery in the end? Is there a oversea office they will send you to? If so what is the policy like? Do you have to have a similar oversea team as you are in now? Software Engineer position.
Are you tricking me? Lol
Lol trolls. I’m curious too. Never heard about this
India has a maps team which is an option if you are from India and want to go there
Is India the only option?
Yes but wouldn’t that be transferring to another team? I think Urhw48 was trying to say that you can work for the same team but from a location outside the country.
That would depend on the team and manager. Easy if other location has a local team working on the same thing. But if not It is tougher to do at Apple compared to other companies.
Yes we do have a team handling all Immigration related relocation . Your manager will have to initiate the process.
Why manager? Why can't individual do it herself? In Google, I can initiate any immigration process including GC if I'm employed. I don't need approvals.
It’s like asking why all companies are not doing free food? Everything comes at a cost and it has to go through approvals.
