TouchID is so much more functional than FaceID. Touchbar is good only for the touchID. The lack of an actual tactile ESC is the worst part about it.

FaceID is atrocious. Now, I always have to pick up my phone and point it's my face to do most anything. Touch bar is great if you don't need an escape key to tactically feel. Lol
