There are plenty of shuttles covering both far away cities (like SF, or East bay cities) but also small shuttles for neighboring cities like Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, etc. That run every 30min or so. if you’re joining Apple, you can openly ask your recruiter for a pdf with all the routes and times. I did

If you are SF-based, check the SFMTA shuttle stop maps. All the companies have to use the same stop points: https://www.sfmta.com/maps/commuter-shuttle-program-interactive-map

You’ll need a badge to ride an Apple private shuttle or Apple private coach.

they will not let you on unless you badge in.

Only once you’re in. Only the recruiter can give you the PDG with the routes ahead oh your starting day

There are little shuttles for short commutes that are pretty frequent, double decker coaches for longer commutes, but much less frequent. Routes and stops are only visible to employees.

Contractors can take the buses as well. All buses and shuttles are WiFi equipped. The farthest point Apple Commute covers as Sacramento/Elk Grove to Sunnyvale and everything else in between, but do ask recruiter how well your area is covered. It maybe that you have to take a train to a specific spot and transfer to a shuttle.
